Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cashflow.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts, and year-end financial statements.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial planning support to senior management.
• Monitor financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax filings, and audit processes.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions, including new projects, investments, and cost control initiatives.
• Manage relationships with external partners including auditors, banks, and HMRC.
• Support the implementation of new systems, processes, and technologies to improve efficiency.
• Lead and mentor a small finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and collaboration.
