A fast-growing London technology business is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join on a 6-month fixed-term contract, covering a period of maternity leave. This is a fully on-site role based at their London offices, offering the chance to take ownership of a well-run finance function during an important period for the business.
The Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will take day-to-day responsibility for the finance function, ensuring continuity and control throughout the cover period. Key responsibilities include:

Ownership of month-end close, management accounts, and board reporting packs
Managing cash flow forecasting, working capital, and treasury
Overseeing accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes
Maintaining a robust control environment and balance sheet integrity
VAT returns, statutory compliance, and liaison with external accountants and auditors
Supporting budgeting, reforecasting, and ad hoc analysis for the leadership team
Managing and developing a small transactional finance team
