Position title
Interim Finance Manager – Agricultural Sector, Kent
Description

Location: Kent (hybrid – working pattern varies seasonally, typically 2–4 days per week)
Type: Part-time / Interim (fractional or day-rate basis considered)
Salary: Circa £75,000 FTE equivalent, plus bonus
Sector: Agriculture / Horticulture

The Opportunity

Accountancy Capital is recruiting an experienced Interim Finance Manager on behalf of a well-established agricultural business in Kent. This is a hands-on, part-time leadership role supporting a period of change, with a particular focus on asset transfer administration ahead of a member/grower payment deadline early in the new year.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day finance, administration and HR function, working closely with the Managing Director, Board and Audit Committee, while providing hands-on leadership to a small finance and administration team.

Working days flex with the seasonal cycle of the business — busier in the autumn/winter months (typically 3–4 days per week) and lighter through spring (around 2 days per week), rising again through the summer (around 3 days per week). This role would suit a qualified accountant comfortable building a portfolio of interim or fractional engagements, or someone seeking a substantial part-time commitment alongside other work.
