Renowned for its craftmanship, innovation, and commitment to quality, our client is experiencing a period of exciting growth and is looking for a talented Financial Controller to join their senior leadership team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who is passionate about driving financial excellence in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Full ownership of financial operations including management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Preparation and delivery of monthly and year-end financial statements.
Monitoring production costs, margins, and contributing to pricing strategies.
Managing VAT returns, compliance filings, and liaising with HMRC.
Strengthening financial controls, processes, and reporting frameworks.
Business partnering with department heads, providing financial insight to support strategic decision-making.
Overseeing the audit process and liaising with external auditors and professional advisors.
Supporting commercial initiatives, investment projects, and operational expansion.
ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified (or qualified by experience with a strong track record).
Prior experience in manufacturing, brewing, food & beverage, or FMCG sectors preferred.
Hands-on finance leader comfortable operating at both a strategic and operational level.
Excellent knowledge of financial regulations, systems (e.g., Xero, Sage), and strong Excel capability.
Commercially astute with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine interest in the brewing industry is highly desirable.
